Happy New Year

Happy New Year “For last year's words belong to last year's language  And next year's words await another voice.”                                                        ―  T.S. Eliot ( Four Quartets ) Tonight, we come together to celebrate the curtain call of another year. A year that passed by in the blink of an eye, but left a deep impact on our lives. A year full of new beginnings, new endings, new experiences to learn from- to accept and incorporate into our lives. According to Sir Alfred Lord Tennyson, there is a beautiful reason to why the new year is to be a happy one. He says, “Hope Smiles from the threshold of the year to come,  Whispering ‘it will be happier’...” I find his words to be particularly true, simply because I hold great faith that the idea of a new tomorrow can instill a considerable amount of hope in a person.
